Monthly Webinars
ISA hosts monthly webinars that provide members the opportunity to earn CME credit. Each session features a 50-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute Q&A segment. Webinars are typically held on Thursday evenings and conducted via Zoom.

The ISA Webinar Archive features recordings of past live webinars, providing a valuable resource for exploring a variety of educational topics. While these recordings do not offer CME credit, they serve as a convenient tool for learning and professional development.
Practice Management Dinners
ISA Practice Management Dinners are complimentary for Active members and offer an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues. The event features an advocacy update from the ISA President and an educational session led by a guest speaker.
President’s Dinner
The President’s Dinner is held in honor of the outgoing President to recognize their leadership and dedicated service to the ISA. This event takes place prior to the House of Delegates Meeting and serves as an opportunity to formally acknowledge their contributions.
House of Delegates
ISA is governed by a House of Delegates, which is the process ISA follows to elect Officers and formalize a discussion into an action plan. Delegates are elected through a ballot process which has been revised to a self-nomination/registration form. Everyone attending the meeting is asked to bring issues to the meeting that they think deserve attention and get informed. The meeting is typically held in April each year.
ASA Meetings
The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) serves as the national chapter and hosts annual meetings designed to support professional growth, networking, and CME attainment. GLAM Meeting
The Great Lakes Anesthesiology Meeting (GLAM) unites anesthesiology professionals from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin for a CME event in Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, featuring lectures, panels, workshops, and poster sessions. WIA Tea
The ISA Women in Anesthesia (WIA) Committee hosts a complimentary Holiday Tea, offering members a relaxed and elegant setting to network with colleagues. This event provides a classic afternoon tea experience, combining tradition, conversation, and camaraderie in a festive atmosphere.
