Dr. Howard Greenfield is a board-certified anesthesiologist with over 35 years of experience as a clinician, healthcare executive, and anesthesia consultant.
He has extensive experience advising some of the country’s leading hospitals and health systems on opportunities to improve OR efficiency, customer satisfaction, and reduce costs. Dr. Greenfield has worked with OR physician leaders and anesthesia groups to align incentives with their hospitals’ administration. He has also been involved in the development and implementation of new anesthesia care team programs nationwide.
Specialties: Anesthesia group start-ups and turnarounds, service contracting, anesthesia group re-design, subsidy review and analysis, operating room efficiency, aligned quality and performance incentives, process analysis, and interim management of hospital-employed anesthesia groups.
